TUSC IntramuralU5

Juniors U4-U5

Our Junior Soccer program is for boys and girls. The players will be placed on teams along with others in their same age groups. All teams will be coed in these age groups. Sessions will be once a week, and are held on Sunday afternoons at the TUSC complex. These players receive instructions under the watchful eyes of highly qualified technical coaches and our parent-volunteers.

Fall registration is held July 1st - 31st, each year and Spring registration is held January 1st - 31st, each year. Registration is done online via our website.

New Format! These Sunday afternoon sessions will be one hour in length over a period of 6 weeks. Sessions 1, 2, 4 and 5 will include fun soccer-centered activities that work on social interaction, coordination and confidence while developing the skills needed as a soccer player. Sessions 3 and 6 will include two separate games against opposing teams each with two halves of 8 minutes. These weekends are to introduce the competitive side of soccer as well as demonstrate the skills they have been working on in previous weeks in a fun and relaxed environment. These game weekends will be posted so you can bring the whole family!

All players will receive a jersey as well as a participation medal at the end of the season. There will be 6 total sessions for this age group.

This league is designed to provide an easy way to introduce sports to children at a small age. Our goal is to promote the game of soccer in a way that makes it FUN for your little ones!

TUSC Academy

Academy U8-U11

The purpose of the Academy Program is to provide competitive training for U8-U11 player. Our trained Coaching staff uses Coerver-based skills paired with years of soccer experience to bring higher level soccer to your development athlete. Trussville united applies a player developmental pathway with technical drills that focus on key components such as dribbling with speed & control, passing with accuracy & strength, and the confidence of 1v1 play.

The academy will participate in pool play for practices and games. This means your player will have the best opportunity to grow and develop as a soccer player with the ability to move up and down within an age group pool that best suits each athlete.

The Academy will play in the Legion FC D-League. This is the "developmental league" focused on improving the Birmingham area's best talent in a league table format. Each age group has various divisions that allows Trussville United to place each team within our age pool with their appropriate competition.

This is the pathway to the highest competitive level. All sessions will be held at the Trussville United Soccer Complex.  All participants will need soccer cleats, soccer shin-guards, and a size 4 soccer ball.
